A suite of improvisations under a bridge during a trip to Glacier National Park in Montana. An observation of overpopulation of U.S. National Parks through the perspective of one of its most popular entrance points. This bridge stood strong above an illuminating blue river and below a similar flow of traffic. When I first began to explore the space with my flute, my ear leaned towards the ambience of cars crossing the bridge, unpredictable, timbre depending on the car model and speed. What was recorded was a duo. Just my flute and the bridge.

Recorded August 24th, 2023 between 12pm-1pm.
